Johnny H delivers engaging, inclusive, and memorable events designed to support people living with disability to connect, build confidence, develop social skills, and participate in their communities.
We are seeking a passionate and organised Regional Team Leader to oversee our growing team and coordinate NDIS-supported events and programs across the Gold Coast and surrounding regions.
This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in disability support, community services, events, youth work, or recreation programs who is passionate about making a genuine difference in people's lives.

About the Role
As Regional Team Leader, you will lead support staff and event teams to ensure participants have safe, enjoyable, and meaningful experiences.
You will coordinate event delivery, manage support workers, maintain participant wellbeing, and act as a key contact for families, support coordinators, and participants.
This is a hands-on leadership position that combines people management, event coordination, and participant support.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead and support event facilitators and support workers
- Conduct staff briefings and debriefs
- Provide coaching and mentoring
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding
- Ensure staff adhere to NDIS standards and company policies
Event Coordination
- Coordinate community events and social programs
- Manage event schedules and logistics
- Ensure activities are inclusive and participant-focused
- Oversee event setup and pack-down
- Manage participant attendance and support requirements
Participant Support
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Support participants to engage confidently in activities
- Respond appropriately to participant needs
- Build positive relationships with participants and families
