ACADEMY MANAGER

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individual to join our close knit community. The aim of our Academy is to provide an environment in which parents, staff and trainees work together, to provide a holistic approach to education that encourages personal growth and workplace readiness with the ultimate goal of our trainees finding employment.

The role will be an imperative part of our SLES (School Leaver Employment Support) Academy armed to assist our trainees achieve their job preparedness to meet their employment aspirations.

 

The Position

This position would suit a Teacher, Coach, Training Manager or engaging leader who is passionate and interested in the disabilities sector, and confident facilitating and engaging our trainees; combined with work history in multiple industries in order to share their experiences (this is imperative). The successful candidate will oversee both the financial and administration for the Academy with previous NDIS experience.

 

In this role you will be expected to:

Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with our curriculum and practices.

Collaboratively develop content, be responsible for managing our Training Material from inception to delivery, and manage a team to implement and facilitate the program.

Work with the management team, trainees and other stakeholders in contributing to the successful outcomes of the business.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proven report writing and financial management skills; reading data, analysing and subsequently reporting to the Managing Director.

Proven organisational and planning skills.

An ability to work in partnership with all Stakeholders.

An ability to identify and cater for different learning styles and methods.

Possess intermediate microsoft office skills with the ability to integrating digital technology into a contemporary learning environment.

Qualification and/or Experience in training and learning support with relevant industry experience.

Experience in evaluating, developing and implementing training and its outcomes.

Effective time management skills and an outstanding work ethic.

Most of all, experience in a wide range of industries to share with our clients all your experiences and work stories to assist them as they transition into the workforce.
